We are pleased and proud to announce that the Eugeniusz Knapik – Chamber Works album has been awarded a Fryderyk prize in the Album of the Year Chamber Music - Large Ensembles category.

It's already a tenth Fryderyk statue received by the Silesian Quartet - especially prescious one, as it honours recording of the pieces by the composer whose music has accompanied us for long years.

We'd like to express our gratitude to Eugeniusz Knapik, Piotr Sałajczyk and Piotr Lato - our co-performers, Beata Jankowska-Burzyńska who was our recording producer and all who supported this initiative, especially our publishers, CD Accord.
